Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Swadlincote. This is a full-time role supporting teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on working with small groups of pupils to ensure every child achieves their potential.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled TA with proven experience in supporting pupils in both classroom and small group settings. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education, assisting teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
Work with small groups or individual pupils to boost learning outcomes
Assist in planning and preparing learning resources
Promote positive behaviour and social development
Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion and engagement
Help maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a teaching assistant, particularly supporting small groups
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
Passionate about helping children succeed
Flexible, reliable, and a team player committed to inclusion and high standards
Work with motivated and well-behaved children
