Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team at a well-established primary school in Rugby. This full-time position requires your commitment to working Monday-Friday from 8:30 to 15:30, starting in November 2024 on a long-term basis.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting student learning and development. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher, managing student behaviour effectively, and providing cover during emergencies for up to two sessions per term.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to continuous improvement, sets high expectations for themselves and others, and has a proven track record of fostering positive relationships with both students and teachers.

Experience in working with students on a 1:1 basis, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and challenge students are key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates. Additionally, being highly organized, motivated, and aligned with the school’s vision and values will be essential in contributing to our educational community.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
