Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated individual to a Special Educational Needs school in Walsall.


Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Walsall

Start Date: September 2024

Duration: Long-term, for the academic year

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30


 About the School:

The school caters to students aged 5-18 with Autism (ASC) and associated needs. They pride themselves on maintaining a supportive and inclusive ethos, with a focus on putting the children at the heart of everything they do.



– Implement behaviour management strategies to promote self-control and independence

– Provide feedback to teachers and parents regarding student progress

– Support students emotionally and physically, ensuring safety and access to learning activities



– Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent

– Previous experience working with SEN students, especially those with Autism, ADHD, or ASD

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

– Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
