Level 3 Teaching Assistant

About the Role Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming and supportive school to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers, enhancing classroom learning, and helping pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
• Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
• Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusive learning opportunities
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
