If you have a passion for education and enjoy working with children, the role of a Teaching Assistant could be the perfect fit for you. This long-term position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on childrens learning journeys. Starting in January 2025, you will be supporting a vibrant Year 3 class at a sought after primary school in Kings Norton.
As a dedicated Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience of the class. With a focus on core subjects, you will provide individual and group support, fostering a conducive learning environment. Your NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare will be instrumental in guiding and assisting children in their academic endeavours.
Being well-versed in the national curriculum and possessing strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential for excelling in this role. Collaboration with teachers and staff members is key to ensuring the holistic development of the class. This full-time position offers the possibility of permanency based on your performance and dedication, extending until July 2025.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
