Lunch Time Supervisor

Job Description

Zest Education are excited to be collaborating with a delightful school in Burton on Trent that is eagerly seeking a Lunch Time Supervisor to become a part of their team starting from September 2024. This opportunity is on an ongoing basis, requiring the selected candidate to be available Monday through Friday. As a Lunch Time Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the students during their lunch break.

The wonderful school based in Burton on Trent have a dedicated team of staff who work together to ensure that all students experience a happy and nurturing school environment to learn and thrive in. The school are able to offer a village like feel with close links to public transport routes and onsite parking, making it suitable for all!

Key Responsibilities:
– Supervising students during lunchtime to maintain a safe and harmonious environment
– Assisting in the dining hall to ensure order and cleanliness
– Engaging with students in a positive and friendly manner
– Implementing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour during lunchtime
– Responding promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may occur

The school are looking for a candidate who has had prior experience working with children preferably in a lunch time supervisor position. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
