Zest Education are excited to be collaborating with a delightful school in Burton on Trent that is eagerly seeking a Lunch Time Supervisor to become a part of their team starting from September 2024. This opportunity is on an ongoing basis, requiring the selected candidate to be available Monday through Friday. As a Lunch Time Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the students during their lunch break.
The wonderful school based in Burton on Trent have a dedicated team of staff who work together to ensure that all students experience a happy and nurturing school environment to learn and thrive in. The school are able to offer a village like feel with close links to public transport routes and onsite parking, making it suitable for all!
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervising students during lunchtime to maintain a safe and harmonious environment
– Assisting in the dining hall to ensure order and cleanliness
– Engaging with students in a positive and friendly manner
– Implementing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour during lunchtime
– Responding promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may occur
The school are looking for a candidate who has had prior experience working with children preferably in a lunch time supervisor position. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
