Zest Education is recruiting a reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join a school based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to creating a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment during the school day.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils during the lunch break, both in the dining hall and playground
- Encourage positive behaviour and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
- Support younger children with meals and promote healthy eating
- Organise and oversee play activities to engage pupils positively
- Deal with minor first aid incidents and report any concerns to senior staff
- Ensure school policies on safeguarding and behaviour are followed at all times
👤 Ideal Candidate:
✅ Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
📋 Strong organisational skills and ability to manage groups of pupils effectively
💬 Friendly, approachable, and confident communicator
🤝 Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children
🛡️ Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
🪪 Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
