Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school, located in South Birmingham, close to Kings Norton. The school are looking to recruit a qualified Male Physical Education teacher, to teach across KS3 – KS4. The role will be full time and will start in September 2022, this will be for a minimum of one term. The school have specified they require a male teacher due to supervision required within the changing rooms.

The school is based in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and hard-working environment. The school also has good indoor and outdoor facilities, to allow for creative and fun lessons.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities

Rates of pay will vary dependent at on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
