Zest Education are looking to recruit a confident, hardworking and engaging individual to work in a large secondary school in South Birmingham, close to the city centre. The role will be for a maths teacher, who can teach across KS3- KS5, the position will start in January 2024, full time and will be for a minimum of one term.
The school has broad range of students and a high number of EAL students. The schools main aim is to ensure that the pupils are happy, safe and learning, but also that they are equipped to leave the school and face any challenges of the world.
The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and assessment skills as well as being proactive and engaging.
Successful candidates will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Maths and experience of teaching Maths across GCSE and A Level
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
