Are you a Mathematics enthusiast with a passion for shaping young minds? Zest Education presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths teacher to embark on a new journey at a secondary school in Yardley Wood starting in September 2024. As a Maths teacher at our institution, you will be at the forefront of delivering captivating lessons, fostering an environment of inclusivity, and guiding students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
– Craft and deliver interactive Maths lessons tailored to the needs of secondary school students.
– Cultivate a welcoming and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
– Evaluate student progress through assessments and tests, offering valuable feedback to enhance their understanding.
– Participate actively in staff meetings and engage in continuous professional development activities to refine your teaching skills.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification in Mathematics, coupled with previous experience teaching at the secondary level. Effective communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine dedication to nurturing student growth are vital attributes for this position.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
