Maths Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maths teacher to join a busy secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves teaching students across KS3, KS4, and KS5, and will commence in January 2025, continuing until at least the end of the academic year.

The school is known for its vibrant, diverse, and energetic student population, coming from varied backgrounds and working at different levels of ability. Led by a supportive Headteacher who values the individuality of each student, the school aims to nurture strengths and provide support for areas needing improvement. Continuous training and support from senior staff create a fulfilling environment where staff and student happiness are top priorities.

**Responsibilities:**
– Teach students aged 11 to 18, requiring prior experience teaching A level Maths
– Support GCSE and A level students in preparation for exams
– Inspire and engage younger students in the subject of Mathematics

**Requirements:**
– PGCE or UK teaching equivalent
– Fully referenced relevant experience in teaching multiple age groups
– Strong knowledge and experience in teaching A level Maths
