 About the school:

The school is a small specialist provision that caters to students with SEMH needs, offering a more tailored and specialized educational experience than traditional mainstream schools. They are committed to providing high-quality education and support to help our students thrive and reach their full potential.

 

Role Responsibilities:

– Teach Maths across key stages 3 – 5, adapting to students’ individual educational needs

– Collaborate with experienced colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum within the school

– Implement creative and engaging teaching methods to maximize student achievement

– Work closely with support staff and therapists to ensure students receive personalized support

– Develop individualized/small group programmes and maintain a flexible approach to learning

 

Qualifications and Skills:

– Qualified Teacher of Maths with experience across key stages 3 – 5

– Proven ability to contribute significantly to the academic and personal development of students

– Confidence and willingness to collaborate with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Creative and practical approach to teaching and learning

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
