Maths Teacher – Bournville

Job Description

Zest Education is currently in search of a dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time role at a community-oriented secondary school in South Birmingham, near Bournville. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) and is expected to commence in February 2024, continuing for the remainder of the academic year. There is a potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate for the Religious Education Teacher role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
  • A genuine passion for mathematics, with excellent subject knowledge spanning KS3 and KS4
  • A positive team ethos, enjoying active participation in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in planning, marking, and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • Adaptability, patience, and a penchant for employing creative and innovative teaching methods

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced educators are equally encouraged to apply for this position.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
