Zest Education are working closely with a school in the Aldridge area who are looking to recruit an ambitious, passionate, and experienced maths teacher.

The is a highly successful secondary school where staff and students feel happy and safe and where teachers and learners have a close working relationship. Teachers are provided a first-rate induction and continuous CPD programme for all so that nobody is left to ‘find their way’ in the school. It is a bespoke programme so that you can focus solely on your teaching when you get there.

This is a full-time role starting in September 2022 for one academic term with the potential to be extended.

 

The successful candidate will have

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
