Here at Zest Education we have an exciting opportunity at a well know Secondary School in the Dudley area. They are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate Maths Teacher to join their dynamic, well established team. This full-time supply role is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in teaching and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will need to have the drive to succeed in a very successful Math department, where the students are keen to learn and improve their already exceptional results. It is also essential that you are able to follow the schools ethos, behaviour management and strong core values.
The day to day role will consist of:
- Planning, delivering and marking all work for both KS3 and KS4
- Managing class room behaviour and adhering to the schools policies and procedures
- Responding to any queries pupils, parents or carers may have
- Attending department and whole school meetings
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and you have previous experience of teaching Maths up to GCSE level. All applicants who are successful with our initial screening stage, will be put forward to the school for consideration, and the chosen teacher will begin early in the new academic year.
Daily rates are between £131 and £198 per day (PAYE), subject to experience and qualifications.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
