Zest education and a large well established secondary school in Sandwell are working in collaboration to find a highly motivated Maths teacher. The position can be both on a full and part time basis and is due to start in January 2022 and will run until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for a passionate, motivated and hard-working individual who is ready to join their highly achieving, well established Maths department. The successful candidate will need to be able to fit within the school ethos and be able to uphold the strong values that the school sets out for both staff and pupils alike.

Ideally the school would like a creative and dynamic teacher to join their departmental team who aim to and are passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all students. Additionally, the school offers state of the art facilities and is easily accessible through either public or private transport.

The school is a busy secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils, including a high number of EAL students, and has a supportive and inclusive ethos throughout the school. Therefore it is fundamental that you are able to follow the schools policies and procedures.

  1. A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
  2. A broad knowledge and interest in the subject of Maths.
  3. The ability to fit seamlessly into a very hardworking team.
  4. To be able to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons which adhere to the schools curriculum.
  5. An exceptional ability to be able to manage classroom behaviour and adhere to all the schools policies and procedures.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum). Daily rates are between £100 and £200 per day (PAYE), subject to experience and qualifications.
