Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school in North Birmingham, close to Sutton Coldfield. The schools have asked us to find a Maths teacher, that can teach across KS3 – KS5, the role will start in September 2022 and will be for a minimum of one term, full time.
The school is situated within a popular area, so is easily accessible by public and private transport. The school’s departmental team are hardworking, and all strive to progress their students learning and experience. The team also support and encourage their pupils and create a safe environment for them.
The role entails you to quickly build engaging relationships and be a proactive individual.
Successful candidates will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Maths and experience of teaching Maths across GCSE and A Level
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
