We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Media Studies for a secondary school in the Kingshurst area to start in April 2024 for one academic term. The school is staffed by a team of fantastic teachers and support staff, who are committed to learning and ensuring the very best opportunities for their students.

Media Studies is offered at Key Stage 4 and at A level and provides students with the necessary skills to allow them to better understand and critically analyse the messages and ideas behind the media texts students engage with daily.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Be able to teach Media Studies at KS4 & A-Level
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience, ranging from £153-£211 a day.
