Fluent in the Spanish language and have a passion for education? Zest Education are working along a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in Stoke on Trent who are in need of an MFL teacher with a specialism in Spanish. The role is due to start in a full time capacity from January 2024. However, the role may be extended should the school decide it’ necessary.

Ideally the school are looking for an MFL teacher with creativity, passion and enthusiasm to join their dynamic departmental team. The chosen candidate should have experience teaching Spanish up to KS5 with French or German as an additional language up to KS4. You will be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs.

The school is a large secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas. The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do.

A successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them a QTS or QTLS
  • A passion for the Spanish language and education with substantial knowledge for teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • The desire to be a part of the wider MFL team
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver lessons of a high-quality lessons (planning and marking only applies for short / long term placements)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management.
