MFL Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking an MFL Teacher with fluency in French and Spanish to join a Secondary School in the Moseley area. The successful candidate will ideally be both French and Spanish speaking, but the school have advised that they would consider applicants with just one language specialism. This is a full time role due to commence as soon as possible, and is expected to run for the rest of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, following the curriculum guidelines
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and success for all students
– Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
– Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extra-curricular activities and events

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

– Fluent in either French or Spanish, with the ability to teach to a high standard
– Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
