MFL Teacher – South Birmingham

Zest Education is working closely with a number of fantastic secondary schools across South Birmingham and the surrounding areas who are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable MFL Teachers to provide high‑quality cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Modern Foreign Languages specialist who can confidently deliver engaging lessons in French, Spanish and/or German at KS3 and KS4.

Whether you’re seeking day‑to‑day supply, short‑term placements, or something a little more consistent, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability and lifestyle.

The Role

You will be:

• Delivering high‑quality MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding
• Keeping pupils engaged and progressing in line with the curriculum
• Following school behaviour policies, routines, and marking guidance
• Building positive relationships with staff and students
• Maintaining a calm, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment

We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish and/or German
• A confident and adaptable approach to different school settings
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A reliable, positive professional who can hit the ground running
