Zest education are currently working with a secondary school in Sutton, who are looking for applications for an outstanding Music teacher. Are you a passionate Music teacher looking to make a positive impact on young students lives? If so, apply today!
This role is a Full-time position and is set to start September 2024. Initially the role is for one school term, but there is a strong possibility that this may be extended.
The school is centrally located and allows for easy access through public transport. Ideally the school would like the successful applicant to be creative and innovative with their teaching methods, whilst maintain a positive learning environment.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Music and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but isn’t a necessity)
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be adaptable, creative and innovative with lesson planning

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
