Music Teacher – King’s Heath

Job Description

Are you passionate about fostering a love for music in young minds? Zest Education is seeking a dynamic Music Teacher to join an inclusive and forward-thinking school in the King’s Heath area. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture the musical talents of our students starting from January 2024, with a commitment to a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and interests.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their musical progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into the broader curriculum and school activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching music at secondary level.
  • A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students of all levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school community.

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
