We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Kings Norton, Birmingham. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and marking, ensuring the delivery of high-quality music education.
This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
– Delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons to students
– Planning and preparing lesson materials in line with the curriculum
– Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
– Monitoring and managing student behaviour
– Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum
– Participating in professional development opportunities
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching music at secondary level
– Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education
– Ability to plan and deliver creative and interactive lessons
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check
Salary:
The rate of pay for this position will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, ranging from £153 to £211 per day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
