Are you a passionate and dedicated nursery practitioner looking for a rewarding opportunity in Swadlincote? Look no further! Join the fantastic school nursery in Swadlincote for an exciting position starting in September for the duration of the half term, with possibility of extension.
At this nursery, they strive to create a positive atmosphere where children can grow and develop through enriching learning opportunities. We are looking for a nursery practitioner who shares our vision and is committed to providing the best possible care and education for our children.
Key responsibilities:
– Delivering sessions to a nursery group
– Supporting children with learning through play
– Setting a positive example for the children
– Creating an engaging learning environment
– Collaborating with colleagues and parents
Ideal candidate requirements:
– QTS or level 3 qualification (preferred)
– Experience in teaching or working in a nursery setting
– Knowledge of the EYFS framework
– Understanding of safeguarding
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
