Zest Education is currently recruiting a part-time Nursery Practitioner to work in a day nursery based at a primary school in Burntwood. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and supportive Early Years setting that provides high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
The nursery is open all year round, from 7:00am to 6:00pm, so shift patterns will vary.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
Support children’s learning and development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Work with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years
Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Support daily routines including play, learning activities, meals, and care needs
Observe, assess, and contribute to children’s development records
Work collaboratively with the nursery and school team
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
Has experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Is caring, reliable, and enthusiastic
Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
Is flexible to work part-time shifts between 7am and 6pm
