Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to work 1 day per week at a welcoming primary school in Burton. This is a fixed‑term role from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young learners within a vibrant, diverse community.

Role Details

  • Start date: 1st September 2026
  • Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2027
  • Hours: 6.5 hours per week (1 day per week)
  • Pay: Teachers’ Main Scale (M1–M6), £32,916 – £45,352 pro rata
  • Key Stage: KS1 (job‑share with an existing teacher)

You will work as part of a job‑share arrangement in KS1, delivering engaging, inclusive and high‑quality lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best. You will help create a nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued, supported and motivated to learn.

  • Planning and delivering a balanced, inclusive curriculum
