We are recruiting for a fantastic classroom assistant opportunity at a well-regarded primary school in Rubery, Bromsgrove. The position will be part time (Monday and Wednesday) and starting as soon as possible and will continue on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year.

The successful teaching assistant must:

  • Hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject
  • Be a reliable and resourceful teaching assistant
  • Be able work confidently in a fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to work with individual learning needs to cater for the needs of individual children
  • Have experience of previously working with additional behaviour needs such as autism
  • Be proficient in literacy, numeracy, and ICT
  • Have a strong work ethic and team player attitude
  • Show a passion for education and have the ability to work on your own initiative

The position will be part time, working across EYFS and KS1, and will vary between working within small groups to help with the current catch up system within schools and working on a 1-1 basis to support children who need individual support, as and when required. This role will be starting as soon as possible and will be continuing into the new academic year (September 2022).
