Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Stafford to recruit a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher. This is a part-time maternity cover position starting in September 2025, running through to the end of the academic year in July 2026.
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Start Date: September 2025
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner to join a supportive team in a school that values creativity, child-led learning, and high-quality early years provision. You will be working 3 days per week in a well-resourced and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with EYFS curriculum
Creating a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Collaborating effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Has recent experience teaching in Early Years
Demonstrates a clear understanding of the EYFS framework
Is enthusiastic, nurturing, and committed to supporting young learners
Can work effectively as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
