Part-Time KS2 Teacher, Birmingham.
Zest Education is proud to be working exclusively with a Primary school in the Saltley region of Birmingham. The role that is available is for a Year 3 part-time Teacher to start in September 2022 and complete the full academic year with the possibility of the job going permanent.
The school itself is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated with some ‘Outstanding’ qualities. The school has just had some renovations completed which has brought the facilities well and truly into the 21st century. The facilities on offer are inclusive to all. They have fantastic learning development centres with sensory rooms and time-out areas. The school also has some specially designed areas for children who struggle with the distractions of a ‘normal’ classroom.
The successful candidate must be able to adapt their teaching styles to suit the varying academic abilities that are at this school. On whole, the behaviour at this school is good but positive reinforcement is used when behaviour needs correcting. The candidate must be dedicated and see this role right through to the end. Year 3 is an important year and so the teacher must have the in-depth curriculum knowledge that is required.
Both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers will be considered for this role but those with KS2 experience will be at an advantage. Support will be given to the successful candidate to ensure a smooth transition.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
