Part time PPA

Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated PPA Teacher in Northfield, Birmingham. This part-time position, starting in September 2024, will be covering PPA sessions across school on a part time basis. The Head is open to flexible working days for the right candidate and the position is going to be for the full academic year.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in managing challenging behaviour with a firm but fair approach. As the role involves working across both KS1 and KS2, proficiency in literacy and numeracy, along with a strong grasp of the curriculum, is vital. Collaboration and teamwork are key, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile and maintain a good sense of humour.

This position requires 3 days of commitment each week and welcomes applications from experienced teachers with a proven track record in a similar role. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
