Job Description

Part-Time PPA Teacher (Mondays & Tuesdays) – September 2025

Location: Solihull (On-site parking available)
Position Type: Part-time, ongoing weekly commitment (every Monday & Tuesday)

We are seeking a dynamic and reliable PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) Teacher to join the school via our trusted education agency. You’ll support the teaching team by delivering engaging, high-quality cover lessons and ensuring continuity in pupil learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.

  • Ensure smooth transitions and maintain consistent learning outcomes during teacher absence.

  • Prepare resources, assessments, and feedback to support pupils’ progress.

  • Collaborate with class teachers and leadership to uphold school standards.

  • Engage with pupils positively, managing behaviour effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally across multiple year groups.

  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to adapt to different teaching styles.

  • Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented mindset.

  • Willingness to contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
