Zest is looking for a committed teacher to work at a popular school in Yardley to cover PPA 3 days each week. The school offer safe on-site parking and continual professional development for all staff. The role is to start in October 2024 and will continue on a long-term basis.
The three-form entry primary school is run by a passionate head teacher who is continually working hard to improve the school for all. The school have a team of amazing staff who work together to provide the very best for all children.
The successful candidate must work with other colleagues to ensure lessons are appropriately planned and differentiated for the needs of all pupils. You must also employ a range of suitable learning and teaching strategies and styles to ensure effective learning of all pupils. Having a good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum and basic knowledge of SAT’s will also be required for this role. To be consider for this role, you must hold a valid QTS.
The pay for this role will start from £130 a day, dependent on references and experience. The school are advising both ECT’s and experienced teachers to apply for this role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
