Part time TA

Zest Education is recruiting exclusively for a primary school in Edgbaston, who is recruiting for a dedicated part-time TA to join their team. This position is specifically for a Year 2 class, where you will have the chance to support both the class as a whole and small groups, focusing on core subjects and reading.

Starting in January 2024 and continuing until the end of the academic year, this part-time role offers a great opportunity for individuals seeking work-life balance. With the flexibility of three days per week, the days worked can be flexible to work around the successful candidate.

The school itself is a popular 2-form entry, ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment for both staff and pupils. Besides the exceptional teaching and learning facilities, the school also boasts excellent on-site and outdoor amenities, including ample on-site parking, interactive resources throughout school and 2 large outdoor playing fields.

To excel in this role, a passion for working with children and an understanding of their educational needs are essential. The successful applicant must be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or above) in a relevant childcare qualification and knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum would be advantageous. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
