Job Description

Zest Education, an award-winning agency covering across the Midlands, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Teaching Assistant to start asap in the Bournville area.

Responsibilities:
– Provide 1-1 support for a child with diagnosed ADHD and ASD
– Demonstrate resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
– Effectively manage behaviour, maintain high standards, and communicate well with class teachers and parents/carers
– Collaborate with the school staff to ensure the pupils academic and emotional needs are met

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
– Strong communication skills
– Ability to adapt to different learning styles
– Relevant Level 3 NVQ qualification in childcare

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
