Part-time Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a positive impact in the lives of special needs students?

Zest Education is seeking a part-time teacher to join a special educational needs school in Nuneaton.

As a part-time teacher starting in September 2024, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored education to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Working on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8:30 to 15:30, you will have the opportunity to work closely with small class sizes of 6 to 7 students, ensuring each child receives the attention and support they deserve to thrive academically and emotionally.

We are looking for a teacher who can plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with ASC. Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment will be at the heart of your role, fostering a space where every student feels valued and encouraged to learn.

In this position, you will assess and monitor students’ progress, adapting your teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external agencies will be key in providing holistic support for students, ensuring that they receive the best possible educational experience.

To excel in this role, you must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience working in special education needs settings. A strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within SEN education is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and families.

If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of special needs students and contribute to a supportive learning environment, apply now.
