Part-time Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time teacher to join a special educational needs school in Walsall. This unique opportunity is set to commence in October 2024 on a long-term basis, requiring the successful candidate to be available to work 3 days a week.

Situated in Walsall, the school caters to students aged 5 to 14 with Autism (ASC), Social and Emotional Mental Health difficulties (SEMH), and additional complex behaviours. Offering tailored education that caters to the individual needs of each student, the school is committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment.

We are looking for a teacher who embodies qualities such as calmness, engagement, resilience, and an innovative teaching style. Your motivation should stem from the desire to help every pupil unlock their full potential and thrive in their educational journey.

Ideal candidates will possess previous experience working with students with special educational needs and will be selected based on their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm to acquire and apply new skills to enhance the learning experience for our pupils. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
