Part-time Teacher

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? An exciting part-time opportunity is available for a teacher to join our welcoming team at a special educational needs school in Nuneaton starting in November 2024.

As a teacher at our school, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students aged 3-11 with Autism (ASC). You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Utilising a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and assistive technologies, you will engage and support students in their educational journey.

To excel in this role, you must hold a Qualified Teacher Status in any subject specialism and have proven experience as a SEND Teacher with a deep understanding of various special educational needs and disabilities. Your familiarity with a range of teaching resources, assistive technologies, and interventions will be invaluable in supporting students with SEND.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you collaborate with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, and external professionals. Your organizational skills will be put to the test as you manage and document individual student progress, assessments, and interventions. Additionally, your patience, empathy, and nurturing approach will greatly contribute to the social and emotional development of your students.

If you possess flexibility and adaptability to work with a diverse range of students and their unique needs, we invite you to apply for this rewarding position. Join our team and be part of a community that puts children at the heart of everything we do. Let’s make a difference together!
