Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Teaching Assistant position at a school in Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the development of KS2 students.
This particular schools goal is to ensure access and ambition for all where they value every child and aim to find their passions, motivations and love of learning from when they walk through the gates.

Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Lichfield
Working Days: Monday – Wednesday

– Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
– Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
– Support individual students or small groups in their learning
– Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
– Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure smooth operation of the classroom

– Previous experience working as a teaching assistant
– Ideally hold a level 2 or above in childcare or relevant qualification
– Good understanding of the national curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students

This part-time Teaching Assistant position will commence in September for at least one term, with the possibility of extension. It offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment, where your contributions will be valued and appreciated.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
