Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to provide individualised support to a child with autism throughout the nursery day at a primary school in Swadlincote. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to a child’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
Provide one-to-one support for a child with autism during the nursery day
Assist with learning activities, communication, and social skills
Help the child engage with peers and participate in classroom routines
Collaborate with the teacher and SEN team to implement individual learning plans
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children with autism or SEN
Strong understanding of child development and positive behaviour strategies
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Ability to start after Easter
