Part-time Teaching Assistant.

Zest Education are working exclusively with a popular special education needs school in Nuneaton to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is due to begin October 2022 start and would be required to work four days a week, there is a possibility that the role could become permanent if the right candidate is found.

The school itself caters for students from the age of six to fourteen with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).  The successful candidate must have experience supporting individuals with special educational needs.

The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals. You will be required to work alongside the teacher and establish positive relationships with the children to support them feeling safe and allowing them to learn and enjoy their time at the school.

The role:

  • You must have previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs, mental health difficulties or within a care environment
  • You will be working within a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • You must be a dedicated individual to providing children with a secure and supportive learning environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
