Part-time Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant special educational needs school in Stoke-on-Trent.

This part-time role, starting in January 2025, offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 5-18 who have Autism, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour Dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH, and more. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting individuals with special educational needs in either a classroom or care/support setting.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students in small groups and provide 1:1 support when necessary to facilitate their learning and development. Your responsibilities will include fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting emotional and social growth, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
