Zest Education are recruiting for a wonderful special educational needs (SEND) school in Wolverhampton to recruit a TA for a part time position 3 days a week. This position is due to start as soon as possible and will continue on a long-term basis. You must be able to work 8:30-15:30. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for a new challenge and is passionate about SEND.
The school caters for students from the age of 3-11 with severe and complex learning difficulties. To be considered for this role you must have experience supporting individuals with SEND or have experience in a care environment.
This school focuses everything around the students individual needs of each student attending our school, with the aim that every learner is able to fulfil their individual potential and thrive. Alongside a broad, exciting and memorable curriculum, the school focuses on developing core life skills such as communication and social interaction, sensory processing and emotional regulation. Working towards every student being as independent as possible when they move on to the next stage of their education.
The role:
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean, orderly and safe working environment making sure that resources are set out on time and used safely to enable students to meet their learning targets
- You must be engaging, reliable and able to quickly build professional relationships
- Must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills and working across a range of age groups
