As a part-time teaching assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the Y2 class every Tuesday to Friday, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your proactive, creative, and resourceful approach will be instrumental in assisting the class as a whole, as well as providing individual and/or small group support when needed.

Joining this passionate team at this busy 2-form entry school based in Frankley, you will have the opportunity to utilise excellent interactive resources to enrich the educational journey of each child. Embracing a collaborative ethos, you will work closely with the KS1 team to ensure that core subjects are supported, whilst also promoting a love of learning and mutual respect among all pupils and staff.

To excel in this role, candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification, or above, in a relevant childcare subject, or possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role. SAT’s experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The initial role, set until the end of the academic year, may potentially be extended into September 2024, offering a rewarding and fulfilling opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners.
