Part-time Teaching Asssistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special educational needs school in Bedworth. This part-time role is set to begin in October 2024, requiring you to work 4 days a week from 8:30 to 15:30, with flexibility for discussion during the interview process.

As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will have the invaluable opportunity to work with children aged 3-18 who have complex and high needs. Previous experience working with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is crucial for this role, as you will play a pivotal role in the educational journey of these learners.

Under the guidance of the Class Teacher, you will provide essential support to enhance the educational experience of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include nurturing and assisting students, contributing significantly to their progress, and implementing effective behaviour management strategies. Your caring personality, strong classroom knowledge, and ability to work with both individuals and groups will be instrumental in creating an inclusive learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
