Part-time Upper Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting for an upper key stage two teaching assistant to work at a primary school in Stafford. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of a part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Year Six. This role may involve occasional cover.

This primary is a highly successful school situated on the outskirts of Stafford in a rural environment. It is an extremely welcoming and inclusive Church of England School that celebrates diversity. Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support:

Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities.

Work in collaboration with the class teacher to have an effective impact upon behaviour, progress and social and emotional development.

With the support of appropriate staff in school, plan for and provide individual and small-group support to children.

Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

Contribute to the positive, supportive and challenging culture of the classroom.

Contribute to the wider life of school.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
