Zest Education is recruiting for a part-time Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lichfield. Starting in February 2026, this role will involve taking on a full class teaching responsibility in Year 1, covering until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher looking for a secure and rewarding placement.

📚 About the Role

  • Teach a Year 1 class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure pupil progress
  • Provide pastoral care and create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
  • Support pupils’ transition through Key Stage 1 with a focus on literacy and numeracy foundations

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive approach to teaching
  • Commitment to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
