Position: Part-Time Year 2 Teacher Location: Chelmsley Wood Area Start Date: As soon as possible.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Year 2 curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and academic growth.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and growth.
