Role Overview: Zest are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Year 3 Teacher to join the year 3  class starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a Year 3 class, ensuring each student feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 3 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe and respected.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
