We are currently seeking a Physical Education (PE) teacher to cover a paternity leave at a secondary school in Birmingham City Centre. The role is set to start as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching PE, with experience working with secondary school students. They should be able to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Responsibilities will include teaching PE classes, assessing student progress, and supporting extracurricular sports activities. The successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with other members of staff and maintain a positive learning environment.

The position is temporary, covering a paternity leave, and will be for a duration of approximately 2-4 weeks. The exact timeframe will be discussed during the interview process.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience, ranging from £153 – £211 a day.
